Its October... ITS OCTOBER!? Yeah ok its not a big thing to most people as this month only holds Halloween ... but for me? Well this month holds Midterms. It is times liek these I have to question why I went to law school. Nothing crazy going on with the testing but 3 midterms is a bit stressful. Up until now I thought I was getting the material -- going through it now and piecing it all together is proving otherwise. Part of it is the flow that things are taught and the way that I need to understand them. The connections aren't fully made in class and so that is what this time is for. Its not that bad though... Once they are over things get to calm down for about a month and in that time I have already decided on a new plan for keeping things in order form what I learn in class.

So what else is going on... Brandon and I are done. It was comming and I am not fully disapointed about it. The reason though is just rediculious. The friday were supposed to hang out he got free tickets to an Angel Baseball game. The seats were behind homeplate (very very good/expensive). ANyway I said I would go as I enjoy the sport (Yankee fan) and I know he would have gone even if I didn't want to. So we get there and we have dinner reservations that come with the seats and so as we are getting our hands stamped for ID in our section the guy tells us that we have handicapped seats. Now let me clarify something. Neither of us nor anybody we were with are in in a wheelchair. So with this we walk in stunned and I am getting pissed. I dont' consider myself to be a total snob -- however I have certain standards that I perfer not to go below. Sitting in the handicapped section is one of them. This of coarse is totally asside from the point that there would only be 1 seat for every 2 of us. So Brandon calls his friend who got the ticket and the guy comes over with his girlfriend. (ok I have to diverge again. The guy sems nice but you can see his asscrack out of his jeans... and trust me I wasn't looking. Her? She is wearing jean shorts that are too short and too tight for her -- getting an image now?)
Well, they come over and are myffed by this... as if they couldn't read the ticket. As I never had the ticket I didn't get to see it -- but once I grabbed one it was obvious where were were sitting... WC on a ticket is Wheel Chair! How obvious is this...? After getting an usher to try and help us out -- to no avail, I decide to go and get our table reserved for us for dinner. I figure we can stay there for the game as opposed to our seats. For dinner it would seem that you need to buy an entre ($35) to sit at the table for the full game. I dont' have a problem with this -- but everyone else does. Granted its a bit expensive but the alternative was not to my liking. Not only that but they all seem to think that they need to tell everyone we encounter that they dont' have the money to sit there. Literally they are telling the usher, waiter, hostess "we are poor -- we can't afford to pay that much for dinner" ---- no let me once again reiterate this. THEY ARE CLAIMING POVERTY TO EVERYONE! I was totally embarrised. TOTALLY. So with this they decide that they will once again annoy the usher for a seat and eventually have fold out chairs brought to the handicapped section for them to sit. Yup -- fold out chairs are brough for everyone to sit. I, at this time, me a bee line for the bar. I sit down order a Rum and coke and watch the tv. To give context as well the bar isn't empty either. Face the tv you see ESPN with the game -- tunr around the game is in front of you -- just outside. I was happy there.... but this wasn't about me now--- it was about Brandon. So after a few drinks I walk back out to wher they are all sitting -- and I stand next to them on the walk way area --- not with them mind you -- but next to them. AS the handicapped section is up higher than where I am standing their shoulder while sitting is where my head is standing agaisnt he railing. I refused the entire game to sit down. Eventually around the 7th inning I even went in and order myself a snack. so after the game is done Brandon and I are driving home and he starts up with me of how rude I was about the seats and how he was jsut so happy to be in the section and that I shouldn't have cared... well I did care and so I decided not to argue with him and just said that I was embarrised and that I didn't want to talk about it. After a few minutes Brandon says that he wants to break up -- and so that just ends things for me there and I say fine. We get back to his place -- I collect my things and am about to leave when he asks "aren't we going to talk?" to which I respond no ... and walk out.
SO yeah -- we talked about a week later and it was clear things were done.

But a few weeks after that.... I met Shawn. HAHAHA. We are seeing I guess. Its hard for us to find time for eachother but we are working on it.

So thats about it then.. its almost midnight and I think I should get some sleep -- long day tomorrow --- lots o studying.
